As your trusted adviser, one thing I am always conscious of is the seriousness of what buying or selling a home means to the people we help. To our clients, this is the most important thing in their life and it’s a BIG DEAL!
It can be scary, fun, frustrating, exhilarating all in the same transaction but we never lose sight of taking care of people like family.
As a certified member of The National Association of Expert Advisors, we use a proven process backed by market research to sell homes for up to 18% more money than the methods used by traditional agents.
Training, coaching, mentorship, and certifications are how we learn the best industry practices used by the top 1% of agents around the country. Technology is driving the future of real estate, and we are and will remain on the cutting edge of what will help our clients gain an advantage during the purchase or sale of their home.
I have the blessing and privilege of being able to work with my beautiful wife of over 20 years Val Mayer who is also a full-time agent and the co-founder of The Mayer Group. Together we are unstoppable!
I grew up in Dunkirk and spent my summers in Solomons Island where I spent my time boating, fishing, and crabbing. I have a unique appreciation for what Southern Maryland has to offer on the water. With the Chesapeake, Patuxent, and Potomac Rivers we live in an amazing place for boating, fishing, sailing, and taking in the beauty of Southern Maryland.
Before real estate, I worked in the mortgage business for 5 years where I was a part of hundreds of transactions. I know what loan programs are available, what repairs are likely to be flagged as part of the appraisal process, and know what to look for on both the buying and selling side of the transaction from other lenders.
Prior to lending, I worked in IT for 14 years in enterprise web hosting where I worked with websites for fortune 50 companies managing clients expectations and overseeing a team of 14. This is where I gained insight into how the internet works and how to market online.
My favorite part of real estate is watching my clients get excited about the house they are buying. Watching the kids pick out their rooms and listening to the conversation about where the furniture will go or how the backyard will be great for cookouts.
I have been a life long resident of Southern Maryland and my family ancestry dates back to the 1600’s here in Prince Frederick. We feel blessed to call this beautiful place our home. I want to help you do the same!
